Valu-Fil® 650
The Arcosa Specialty Materials Valu-Fil® 650 Calcium Sulfate Dihydrate, is a very fine, free-flowing, odorless, tasteless white powder produced by fine-grinding and air separating a select grade of high-purity white gypsum.
Feed Mineral Source
Valu-Fil® 650 is commonly used as an economical mineral source for pet foods, animal feeds, and liquid milk substitutes.
Among its many benefits, calcium sulfate promotes skeletal growth, milk production and eggshell quality.
Valu-Fil 650 is inert, non-toxic and composed of approximately 23% calcium and 18% sulfur.
Flame Retardant Filler
Valu-Fil® 650 is an economical flame retardant filler for numerous resin systems currently on the market.
By grinding high purity gypsum into a particle-sized distribution, the loading potential for this product is optimized.
Resin systems loaded with high concentrations of Valu-Fil 650 have the benefits of maximizing the flame retardant properties of the cured resin, lowering resin system cost, and reducing resin shrinkage.

BRC Certification
Arcosa Specialty Materials Grinding Facility in Bessie, OK is a BRC Certified plant. Our products meet the requirements of the Global Food Safety Initiative. Arcosa Specialty Materials is proud to be the only BRC certified (GFSI) supplier of calcium sulfate in North America.
